Welcome to the Hendon Golf Club
You have discovered a true gem of a golf course and golf club. The course is renowned for being designed by both Harry Vardon and, primarily, Harry Colt at the beginning of the 20th century, and features many of the classic Colt characteristics.
We are regularly recognised as an outstanding venue for many Middlesex County Championships and, over the past five years, have hosted the South East Region Counties Championships, as well as Men’s, Junior, and Women’s County Championships.
The course measures over 6300 yards from the white tees, and whilst it is not one of the longest, our 85 bunkers and small greens, together with tree-lined fairways, offer a good test of golf for players of all standards. No two holes are alike, and many are entirely separate from others, making you feel as though you are in the middle of a green oasis – when we are only 12 miles from Charing Cross.
In addition to the outstanding golf course, the clubhouse and surroundings offer facilities unrivalled by any other nearby club. We have a large balcony that overlooks the golf course, a wonderful place to sit and relax, either before or after a round of golf, or to visit the club for a drink or a meal.
Our clubhouse features a variety of rooms of different sizes, offering opportunities for both members and visitors to host events for groups ranging from as small as 6 to 140.
The Club offers an active social scene with events as diverse as golf and meal events celebrating St. George’s Day, Burns Night, and St. Patrick’s Day, as well as quizzes, Summer 9&Dine fun golf events, bridge, and a world-famous snooker table.
For those interested in competitive golf, there are regular medal and stableford events, as well as knockout competitions, throughout the winter and summer. Both men and women run teams for those with handicaps of all levels, where matches are played against other nearby clubs.
Hendon is truly a gem of a club, offering members outstanding value for those participating in all that the club has to offer. For visitors, we offer an equally warm welcome.
Why not come and try it out? We look forward to seeing you soon.
